Dr. Steven Ted Chan, MD

Dec of 2023 Dr. Steven Chan, a physiatrist at Kaiser Permanente on Morse Ave in Sacramento diagnosed me with Myofascial pain syndrome. I had constant dull and throbbing ache and pain from the neck to the top of the head especially face. He advised me to use theracane and deep tissue massage. Now June of 2025, I am in so much pain I could neither stay sleep nor eat. My weight has dropped to 97lb. During 19 months I emailed Dr. Chan 3 times. I asked, pleaded and begged because of my pain getting worse and expanded and I needed treatment desperately. Dr. Chan emailed me back it was very rude and condescending and I was denied of his treatment. Dr. Chan's third email to me was abusive,cruel and lack of humanity also I was denied. I have had a lot of doctors good and bad. Neurologist Dr. Waheed at is superb in every way, abundant empathy and willing heart and my current PCP Dr. Verjosa listens and responds with the language I understand. My condition worsened hopefully not to become… life-long disabilities. Such terrible consequences when Dr denied the treatment to his patient
