Dr. Steven Enchi Chen, MD

Dr. Chen helped me to physically and emotionally recover from a miscarriage. He was patient with all my questions and concerns, he cares about you, your health condition, and your hopes.

What I always value about Dr. Chen is how he always takes my concerns regarding my pregnancy seriously, regardless of how little or mundane they may be. He doesn't dismiss my fears and backs it up with facts to alleviate them. I was fortunate to have had him as my OB/GYN during my first pregnancy because he was able to address all my questions and concerns in-person and via email promptly and thoughtfully.

Dr Chen is very Professional. He answered all my questions before and after the surgery. I was very scared before my surgery and how grateful am i that i fell in the right hands. He performed my surgery and followed up till i recovered. I never felt rushed during my visits and he made sure that i received the best care possible. He is the best and THANK YOU DR CHEN!..

Dr. Chen is extremely competent and professional. He gave me an accurate diagnosis and performed surgery with which I am very satisfied. But his bedside manner is a bit lacking. He is friendly and well meaning, but can come across as unsympathetic. I am changing doctors because I don't feel he fully answered my questions about my diagnosis - He dismissed some questions that I asked altogether and answered them reluctantly.

Complete jerk. Compares patients to "heifers" and says "well, women in Africa don't gain any weight when pregnant." He is trying to be funny but comes across as insensitive. Also, doesn't know the answers to simple questions. We had to google the questions.

Dr Chen delivered my second child in 1997 at Nazareth Hospital, PA. It was a wonderful experience. He is a caring and warm person, and he's very professional.You could'nt find a better OB!
