Dr. Steven Curran, MD

Rushed visit, arrived early to appt, Dr. Curran came in the room past my appointment time, took about 5 minutes, then led me out of the room and straight back to the waiting room. Apparently, my appointment was over already! He told me to schedule the next appointment, which isn't available for another 3 months! I had a whole list of health issues to discuss and he didn't listen at all! Now I have to wait another 3 months suffering from the same issues? He didn't prescribe any new medications, later on, his assistant gave me some lab orders that I never discussed with the doctor. He gave me some referrals, so I guess the visit wasn't a total loss, but I didn't even get to discuss which specialists i needed to see. When I brought up who I wanted to see, the assistant was rude and told me they wouldn't accept my insurance (despite me doing my research ahead of time and speaking with my insurance provider). This visit left me feeling angry and hopeless. It was not worth my time, money or… gas to come out to this appointment. I won't be coming back.

Dr. Steven A. Curran should be cloned and duplicated so everyone can experience his compassion and expertise for his patients. He even educated himself on my behalf after a visit for a condition that is rare so he could ask some solid questions to guide me to wellness. I have never felt rushed or not listened to ever while visiting him in person or online. The office staff are also absolutely amazing and have gone above and beyond to help me. If you want to experience a true partner in managing your health care I would strongly encourage anyone to try Dr. Curran and his office staff.

Dr Curran has an awesome personality , has very good ears .. Have visited a lot of doctors overs the last 20 years.. I would really rate him excellent.. Do not hesitate to meet him!!

I did visit him yesterday for a follow-up visit!Excellent doctor. I am his patient for more than 6 years now and still the same person with character of an excellent doctor.Highly recommended to anyone!Thanks also to all the staff esp. all on the front desk very helpful & understand your needs!

Had only seen Dr. Curran year before for 1st physical in 5 years. Following year, I went in for extended jetlag & anemia due to work/travel. He spent considerable time discussing possibilities, did extensive tests and was able to catch 'very early' a presense of cancer. Many thanks to Dr. Curran for his thoroughness, willingness to invest time in a patient he had only seen twice previously. And, his great knowledge in order to identify a cancer problem and immediately get me referred to a specialist. Would recommend him for all ages & gender. His staff are quite good as well and made me feel important.

I've been a patient of Dr.Steven Curran's for 20 years. Even after I moved to another state, I come back to CA to see him instead of another. He takes his time with me, listens, and always says, "You pay me to suspect the worst", so he is thorough in his diagnostic practices. He has accurately diagnosed me every time. I won't go anywhere else. I KNOW I am in excellent hands. His office staff is friendly, knowledgeable,and I never wait more than 5 minutes to see him.
