Dr. Steven Michael Davis, MD

Moving back to MA after many years my asthma was worse than it has been. Dr Davis is caring, listens and has helped me so much. Everyone I have told that I see him seems to love him! This is the guy to see if you need help breathing!

Dr Davis told me that my issue was all in my head and that I was basically making it up. Disregarded everything I had to say and gave 0 effort in diagnosing or listening to any input that I had regarding the matter. The worst medical service I have ever received in my life. I will never return to his office nor will I even return to UMass Worcester because of him.

Dr. Davis ordered a complete pulmonary workup for me since I developed difficult breathing patterns and a consistent coughing hack, while deployed to Afghansitan. I am thoroughly impressed and satisfied with Dr. Davis' assessment

Dr Davis made no effort to actually diagnose my breathing problems. He put me on a longterm regimen of prednisone and inhalers, told me I had asthma, and that was it. He didn't even order a pulmonary function test until my second visit. I have a new pulmonologist now, and within a month of my first visit he had definitively ruled OUT asthma, ordered a CT scan that showed deeper problems, performed a bronchoscopy to get a better look at those problems, and diagnosed me with tracheobronchomalacia.
