The BEST General/GI surgeon in Atlanta. My wife had developed a giant abdominal wall hernia followed by multiple abdominal surgeries in the past. She was also facing frequent bowel obstruction needing a colorectal surgery. Though the colorectal surgeon. Dr. Patric Sullivan at Emory University Hospital, have identified a surgical path to address the cause for her frequent obstruction, he needed the best General surgeon to join him to help with the closure after the laparotomy, by repairing her giant hernia. Dr. Scott Davis partnered with Dr. Sullivan and performed an extremely complex hernia repair to make her whole procedure successful. It’s been 7 months so far, and she is making good progress. We were, in fact, planning to go to Minnesota or Maryland for the surgery and glad that we found the expertise here in Atlanta itself. I had a laparoscopic hernia repair with Dr. Davis. From my first visit with him to the post op visit everything was great. Him and his fellows and residents are very knowledgeable and helpful. He answered every single question that I had before surgery and made it a very comfortable process. I definitely recommend him.

Excellent surgeon

This doctor was only interested in "data" not the patient. He did not want to hear any explanation of the patient's history. He did not look at the patient and continuously mentioned the patients age increasing it as the appointment went on. He offered no treatment plan other than what the patient was on prior to the visit.
