I have to sincerely apologize for my very Negative review of my experience getting vein treatment. I assumed wrongly that my Varicose Veins, would magically go away in 1 treatment. I visit another Vein treatment center and still having procedures done. So it takes time & patience to restore Varicose Veins. I humbly apologize Dr Deak!

Saw Dr Deak as I have had multiple DVT’s. He was thorough and explained in detail what was going on in my legs. No one ever explained to me in detail my condition. He did an ultrasound and again explained to me in detail the inner workings of my veins. I finally know after 30+ plus years of clots how to control and live with my condition.

I’m not sure the staff knows what they’re doing. They had an ad for a free vein screening. On the survey site it clearly says, “The vein screening is 100% free, however we are not in network with most Medicaid products except United Healthcare Community plan. We offer fee for service or payment plan option should you need a consultation or treatment.” I asked around to make sure I wasn’t misreading because when they called me they said they didn’t accept United Healthcare Community Plan and I nor anyone I know can manage to read that sentence any other way. That sentence grammatically stated that the only plan in network is UHC Community. The woman on the phone said it wasn’t accepted and that another Medicaid option was accepted. Again, not helpful bc I can’t switch plans on a whim, but also not what their survey says. Additionally, I should have been able to schedule the screening since it was supposedly for free regardless of my insurance. They need to hire an editor.

I was led to believe the treatment I received would eliminate my vein problem. No, it did not. After it didn't, I was told I would need multiple additional treatments at additional costs. Even though I had asked many questions before agreeing to the procedure, I was never given the true facts including what to expect as an outcome nor the number of treatments that might be required. Deak's office staff is extremely disorganized; they gave me misinformation, lost track of my treatment dates, etc. I wish I had heeded the very bad reviews given by other former patients. They were right.

You would be a fool NOT to go to him. He is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and CONSUMATE PROFRESSIONAL. A DOCTORS DOCTOR. He performs Hernia operation for me 10 years ago 2009, no issues WHATSOEVER !!!

I went to him 5 years old. He did surgery on my left leg. I felt like I was torture. It was the most painful .. I was in tear. Dr Steven Deak has no mercy.. He just continue. Beware Don't go here . Go someone else.

Went for treatment of spider veins. I've had this treatment in the past so I'm familiar with how it should work. 5 weeks later there was NO improvement and he acted like he told me I would need multiple treatments. HE DID NOT. I was in tears and him and his nurse acted like pod people, didn't say they were sorry, didn't offer a refund or another treatment, NOTHING. They are obviously used to this happening and just stand there and ride it out. What terrible people. I guess Dr Deak has couple vehicles paid for with stolen money just from fraudulent spider vein treatments.

This doctor loves to cut cut cut and is a MONEY HUNGRY person. If you want a good doctor, go elsewhere.

Dr deak is a disaster, i went for a consultation on varicose veins , after he told me the procedure was simple and effective (foam sclerotherapy) we did the surgery . My surprise two weeks later when i took the bandages off " no change" . I went a second time and did another surgery and again no result and when i called him he got a little bit upset with me, offering another surgery" unbelievable". . He wanted to do another surgery( the same method) . His staff is polite but when you tell him your concerns they start giving you an attitude specially the blonde lady. They called me only to ask me when ill do the other leg when the first one is not even healed , i lost my time and my money and i wont go back or recommend it.
