Dr. Steven Hunt Diener, MD

The thing I like best about Dr. Diener is how much time he spends with you. My annual physicals typically last 20-25 minutes. He asks all the right questions, and is not rushed. He makes good eye contact and he listens to you. He's very knowledgeable, easygoing, and thorough. Last visit, I joked with him about how it takes so long to finally find a good doctor, and how I hope he's not planning to retire any time soon. He said I don't have to worry about that. With so many doctors these days sending in their physician's assistants to conduct exams, it's comforting to find an old-school good guy like Dr. Diener.

I had my first physical with Dr Diener today and was very impressed with his professionalism and demeanor. At my age, there's a fair amount of stress visiting a doctor for the first time so I was a bit anxious because I know some drs. will rush through the visit, not giving enough time to get the full picture of my medical needs. Dr. Diener sat with me for at least 30 minutes and asked all the right questions. I had a short list of things that I definitely wanted to make sure I discussed with the doctor, and I never needed to refer to that list because he hit on everything without my prompting. Plus, he just seems like an all-around nice guy.

I was freaking out- I said the the F work to the receptionist, apologized and they sent me a certified letter telling me they could no longer provide services to me as a patient -- after 20 years- I get a potential serious diagnosis and he cant be my Dr. anymore.!

Very courteous, caring, pleasant. Excellent "bedside manner". Makes a referral to specialist rather than guess.

Dr. Diener is the ultimate doctor. He is a terrific human being as well as an outstanding medical professional. He has taken care of my chronically ill husband for years. Royalty would not get better care. Sometimes he is running late, but that is because he gives each patient time and attention. You never feel like a number being rushed out of the office. He really cares about his patients and goes far beyond what is normally expected for them.

Dr. Diener is truly an amazing human being. He makes you feel like you are the most important person and really listens to what you have to say and does not make you feel like you are being rushed to get out of his office. He treats you as if you were one of his own family members. His follow up care is wonderful. Really on the ball. I would and do recommend him highly to anyone who asks.
