Dr. Steven Wayne Ditto, MD

Very hard to get nurse or office to call back concerning questions. Don't get any office follow ups. Doctor really does not give any solutions to problems, very vague.

My family has seen this dr. For years now, I have also seen him for about 2 years now. I understand the need to live cleaner, healthier lives and we need a little nudge from time to time but when a doctor yells and tells a person every decision in their life was a bad decision and how his life is how everyone should live, is overstepping your boundaries as a doctor or a human. Mental health issues can and will cause physical symptoms at times and those physical symptoms can manifest before a person even knows they have a mental issue, depression or anxiety. He told me that my boyfriend was not man enough because he was not paying for my health insurance. Ummm? He is my boyfriend, not my husband and not ditto's business. He made my anxiety worse and stressed me out more. I left crying and felt worse then when I went in. I was having sever stomach pain, hot flashes where I could not see, chest pains. The only thing I stress and get anxious about is if I am going to wake up in pain or… sick. I have lived with this since I was 13 years old and can't seem to find a doctor who will run tests right away, and not throw pain meds at me and tell me to go. I don't want pain meds!!!

I have only seen this doctor twice but I have not had any problems or experienced anything like what some people are claiming on here that they've experienced. In fact, I was very pleased that he actually was more thorough than the ER was when I came in wish extreme back pain. I now have an xray ordered and physical therapy set up to help me recover thanks to Dr. Ditto. So far, he has been great!

I saw this man one time. Notice I did not call him a doctor because I have never been to one this bad. I lost my prior doctor because she relocated. So I saw this man. I left crying. He is a religious nut and cannot help himself. He spent the entire appointment telling me all other doctors were wrong and I needed to have fewer lab tests, stop taking medication, and do what Apostle Paul did when he was in pain. Seriously. Do yourself a favor and avoid this man like the plague. He has his beliefs but obviously does not know that shoving his religious beliefs down someone's throat does not work. I am a Christian and I believe in GOD. I did not need his lecture. He refilled 0 medications for me so I am seeing another new doctor now. I am out of medications and at risk of a stroke. His staff is great and too bad they cannot give out medications because he won't. He apparently does not believe in medications. He is a real piece of work.

This doctor should have his medical license revoked. He has no bedside manner and no compassion for his very ill patients. Has no concern for the amount of pain they are in and seems to busy to bothered with patients he's supposed to be treating.

Perhaps this physician gets tired of people coming in with what sounds like psych issues to me. Depression, anxiety...... he is a medical dr not a psych dr. And if you ask me, he's right....if ppl would live cleaner they wouldn't have so many personal problems. He has never been preachy with any of my 3 family members he has seen so I have no idea what some of you are talking about!

I realize that Dr. Ditto practices in the Bible Belt, but this guy brings the meaning of the term BIBLE THUMPER to a whole new level.

Preaches instead of practicing medicine. If jesus healed i wouldn't need a doctor. This guy has serious psych issues.

Mr.Ditto needs to be behind the pulpit and out of the medical field. I am a believer in a higher power but when it comes to being ill I need a doctor not a preacher. As soon as I can do my research and find a doctor on my insurance plan both me and my husband are gone.

I can't stand this doctor, I wouldn't let him treat my dying dog!! I dealt with him in a free clinic he sponsored...thank God it was free!!! He was very condescending towards me and my medical conditions, basically telling me that "The Book" says "man should work and provide for his family regardless of health issues". He refused to provide medications (that the free clinic had available) because he "did not believe" in the diagnosis from earlier doctors and hospital doctors I recently had seen.He is very arrogant towards some people and tries to heal with his Bible instead of tried, true and proven scientific medicine. I am SO thankful I have health benefits now and will NEVER have to deal with this idiot again!!
