Dr. Steven Robert Eddy, MD

He doesn’t care about the patient, you’re just a check. No follow up instructions after surgery. He cuts you up and sends you on your way. My hand is slow to heal but he has a “one size fits all” treatment plan for everyone even though everyone’s different. If you must use workers comp, find a different doctor.

Dr. Eddy is a terrible surgeon. He performed carpal tunnel surgery on both of my hands at the same time. One hand was my second surgery, not performed by him, which lasted over 10 years. The hands that Dr. Eddy left me with are practically useless. I have pain daily. Which, by the way, is not carpal tunnel pain! My strength is cut by three quarters of what is was. He doesn’t listen, and he doesn’t care. I would prefer the pain I had in my right hand prior to surgery. Dr. Eddy convinced me I HAD to do both hands. They had a nickname for him in Fort Wayne - The Butcher. Which, unfortunately, I learned after the fact. Since then Dr. Eddy has moved to a different state. Apparently I wasn’t the only bad surgery. Who fails carpal tunnel surgery??! Trust me, keep the pain you have. It’s 10 times better than what Eddy will leave you with. Also, I took my 12 year daughter with me to an appointment, who sat in a chair right beside me. Dr. Eddy ignored her completely, never even said a word to… her, which I find rude. Unfortunately, I had to give one star because my review wouldn’t submit. But, I give Dr Eddy 0 stars - for his “surgical ability.”

Dr Eddy , is a great dr ! I had sugary on my finger with screws put it place and the incision is not noticeable at all ! For my check ups he was very caring and listened to my questions and concerns ! Very informative!

Dr. Eddy cared enough to explain my hand problems to me in a way I could understand. I left feeling confident he could help me.

Dr. Eddy is one awesome and caring doctor . He solved my problem that several other doctors couldn't determine . Extremely courteous and patient, he was all about solving the problem and helping me . I would recommend to anyone !

Dr Eddy, Thank you for fixing my RT Elbow, Cubital Tunnel. One excellent surgeon. My Right arm feels normal . Thanks again for being my doctor I will recommend you to my family.

After surgery DR. Eddy did not listen to me when I told him something was wrong where he did the surgery. I could feel there was something going on. I have one more appointment and if he does nothing I will seek help elsewhere and take steps to fine out whats wrong . I have had surgerys before and never had this feeling and problems .
