Dr. Steven Franklin Freedman, MD

I've seen Dr. Freedman four times in the past ten years and he and his staff are total professionals and a pleasure to work with!

My eardrum had ruptured 4 days before the appointment. The day of the appointment he barely spent any time with me, conducted a test and stated that there was hearing loss in the ear that ruptured. Said there was nothing he could do except take tylenol and recommended for me to go to a dentist for the pain and hearing loss. Two months later and I am seeing an actual ENT as for my chronic ear infections are still taking place and am receiving actual treatment. Horrible. He didn’t even have me make an appointment to come back.

Dr. Freedman just called after I had seen him because I forgot, already, the self care advice he offered! His call, in itself, says a lot about his caring! Dr. Freedman's personality has remains affable, honest and caring throughout the many years I have received his professional attention! 4 Cheers Appropriate!!!! J.W.

One of Mom's hearing aids has been missing for about a week. We've looked everywhere and thought of everything, but it hasn't turned up. It's strange, because she's so good about keeping them together, and everyone on board has looked for it. We called the audiologist because she had insurance for it but apparently that lapsed; and he called me back and said it will cost $2300 to replace it...! $2300 for one hearing aid. That's extortion. I wish there was some agency I could call to report this and prosecute them, but of course there's nothing and no one. The 'better business bureau' doesn't have any clout anymore, and Dr. Friedman has a monopoly on the island. It's predatory capitalism, and they're taking full advantage of her predicament. This is 'healthcare' in the USA. Greedy *turds.

Always in exam room within minutes of arrival. All doctors should be so prompt and punctual!!!
