Dr. Steven Barry Fried, PhD

He is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and has been in private practice for nearly thirty years. Dr. Fried is a published author, has been on the faculty at New York University for twenty-five years and a consultant at Brooklyn Hospital. He also helped coordinate the delivery of emergency mental health services and supervised dozens of practitioners in the aftermath of the World Trade Center attack.Dr. Fried obtained his Ph.D. at Hofstra University where he was trained in cognitive-behavioral techniques. Thereafter, he trained extensively in psychoanalysis. Dr. Fried also holds a Juris Doctorate.
