Had a colonoscopy done by Dr. Garcia and 2 days later I was in ICU with a busted intestine. I was in ICU for 2 weeks and moved to rehab hospital in Corpus Christi for another 3 weeks. I now have an ostomy bag I’m having to deal with and not able to lift or do my job. I have never been more upset than I am now! Haven’t heard a word from the Dr’s office to explain what happened.. unsatisfactory!

I recently had my Gallbladder removed by Dr. Garcia and I am very pleased with the outcome. I have Cirrohsis of the Liver, and for that reason nobody wanted wanted to do the surgery-Dr. Garcia saw how bad my Gallbladder was (it was very infected and had several stones in it) and he took the chance. Thank you Dr. Garcia-I feel so much better! Anybody needed this procedure done-I highly recommend Dr. Steven Garcia

Dr. Garcia is kind and patient. He has many qualities-above all he is a Christian which made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Garcia performed an EGD on me, before the procedure he checked on me to make sure I was ok and I was-because he was there. He always makes you feel as if you are his ONLY patient. I trust him, that is important. If you have any questions, he is quickly to respond. Best Dr. ever!

So happy with my outcome, Dr. Garcia is amazing and really made me feel comfortable. He explains everything so well and I had a great experience with my surgery and my after care. Very responsive to any questions I had. Nurse is very prompt at returning calls and is very helpful and understanding. Great experience!

Dr. Garcia is absolutely wonderful. He performed the sleeve gastrectomy on me 5 days ago. I stayed in the hospital for 3 days and every day he checked on me multiple times throughout the day. This was my first surgery and I’m very fortunate to have had him as my surgeon.

Caring, compassionate surgeon who explains all possible treatment methods. I feel he truly cares for me as a patient and my long term health. So very fortunate to have such a renowned surgeon here in Nacogdoches.

I did not qualify for the surgery I wanted but, everyone in Dr. Garcia's office was friendly, the wait was average (even though he was running late because of an emergency) he still made it in a timely manner. I cried when I was told I did not qualify. Dr Garcia sat there with me and seemed to care that I was hurting. I would see him again if the need arose.

I seriously question the mental stability of Dr. Garcia

Office is very talk to. Phone always rolls over to someone who can't help me get an appointment and no one calls me back.

Not a nice visit. They were not aware of my visit and it was a referral. Not friendly nor showed any bedside manner. Wanted to do surgery but was not comfortable with the visit. To each it's own but not for me
