Dr. Steven L Gelbart, DDS

I would like to report dr . Steven gilbart at dental solutions on700 market street. I went into the office on Thursday of last week . I had a terrible infection and was treated was such ignorance and disrespect from both him and his assistant. I tried telling them about my previous health history ( peptic ulcer :possibilities of bacteria in the lining of my stomach. They both completely ignored to even ask me “ if anything had changed . They could have cared less! He took me in the back and cut so deep into my infected mouth ( I had burns from the metal bars on my thumbs ( pictures to prove it) I told both of them I don’t get numb and needed sedation during the birth of my son . They continued to disrespect me ( while my daughter stood by watching and listening) I was told I was difficult and never did he have a problem cutting an infection . When the oral surgery was complete his assistant told him I couldn’t have Motrin ( still never asking or even considering the fact that I have… serious stomach issues ) he told me go two doors down and take over the counter Tylenol. He prescribed antibiotics and denied to give me prescription Tylenol . My husband called the next day due to serve swollen and pain and was told I was fine to continue over the counter Tylenol and antibiotics. As I laid in sever pain for days not being able to eat or sleep due to the poor medical profession who butchered my mouth , cracked my tooth and left a chunk tooth In my infected gum . I became very nauseous leading to white skin . Unfortunately due to Steven gilbart not following protocol or even taking a moment to listen to me. He prescribed me an antibiotic that is dangerous for anyone with stomach health issues , as myself ! Luckily I trusted my instincts and didn’t take all 30 capsules. I’m now on new antibiotics and Tylenol with codine. This is a disgrace ! I have never felt so vialated!

Dr. Gelbart was the the first dentist I saw in over 10 yrs due to my fear of dentists but he made me feel comfortable and at ease and he was extremely patient when I lost it during my extraction of 4 teeth. He was very knowledgable and professional but down to earth and relatable. He is my new permanent dentist. Plus he is isn't too bad to look at either. I'm glad I found him his work is amazing I feel NO pain and its 12 hours post op. Thank you Doctor Gelbart.

He's a great dentist, knows what he's doing, and makes patients feel comfortable. Highly recommended :)
