I employ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, where appropriate to allow the client to understand how behaviors can be affected by distorted thinking. I have worked in various settings in the mental health and addiction treatment, from private practice where once a week or every two weeks was the norm, to outpatient settings and inpatient// residential settings. I have been trained at the Mayo Clinic in tobacco cessation and at Hazelden in evidenced based programming based on mental heath and addiction issues. I have a mental health license and an addiction license and have developed an expertise with dual-diagnoses clients. depression, anxiety, and bi-polar clients as well.
