I really appreciate the time and care I receive when I see dr. Gilchrist. He has followed and found certain health conditions I never knew that I had he has a wonderful bedside manner and treats his patients with care I never dread going to the doctor

If I could give 10 stars for everything I would. He has the best bedside manner and he definitely takes time to listen to his patients needs. Outstanding service!!!

I actually visited this website before selecting and visiting Dr. Gilchrist. I must admit, he is everything that was mentioned. I love Dr. Gilchrist! He is very thorough and puts your mind at ease. I have complete confidence everytime in Dr. Gilchrist's diagnosis.

Dr. Gilchrist personality as well as his genuine concern for your health shines through. I always feel he has give me his full attention and wants feedback on referrals he has made.

From my first visit to last, I received the quality of care that veteran and new doctors should follow! This is a doctor that listens to his patients. He makes person-to-person calls when appropriate. He has quick turnaround time for forms, referrals and return calls. As if that wasn't enough to leave your current doctor, he is extremely personable and makes you feel like you are his only patient. His correct balance of humility and professionalism is spot on. I hope the medical facility that employs Dr. Steven Gilchrist is smart enough to do whatever it takes to keep him happy so that he stays put (at least while I live nearby.) I nominate Dr. Gilchrist for whatever award that is deserving of him-not that he deserves! Please allow doctors to shadow him so that the next generation of patients will have platinum quality care.

I was seen by Dr Gilchrist today and was blown away. Moved from TX 3 months ago and read his reviews on line and thought he is probably okay. I was wrong. I am 43 and have crazy woman in me than I need. Most doctors tend to write me off as that anyway but not this one. He gave me hope and actually touched my heart with his caring nature and the ability to make me feel equal to him. Not like he was a big DOCTOR and I was a buck in his pocket. I could tell he cared in minutes. I have never written a comment of any kind so hats off to you Dr. Gilchrist and thank you.

I am a 47 year old male who has never participated in these reviews. However, I feel compelled to let others know my horrible experience with this Doctor. I had a severe migraine headache and was admitted into the Emergency Room on a Sunday. After they were able to subside the agonizing pain somewhat they recommended me to Dr. Gilchrist. Not knowing he was not a neurologist, I still gave him a try. I have never been so upset with a doctor in my life, until now. When he walked into the room to see me, he asked why I was there, and I explained to him about my Migraine, which was an unusual one since it had lasted for 5 straight days, leaving me in terrible pain, and has never lasted more than one day. He told me he knew nothing about Migraines or neurology. He then proceeded to ask if I had seen a neurologist before and what had I been given. I gave him my old neurologists name, who no longer practiced at his location and took a position in the hospital 3 years ago. Also stating I had… not been to any doctor since then, except to get some Prilosec once for an ulcer, which he verified on his computer. He looked at me strangely when I told him the medication I was prescribed by the doctor. He then asked what the emergency room gave me, which we brought the paper work to show him, but I told him anyway. He asked, I did not tell, what they gave me for pain. I told him fioricet, which was not working. At no time did I ask for any specific medication, I was leaving this up to him. I only asked that he help me with the terrible pain that I was currently in. He told me he did not want to. I then made the comment that I'm sure he still wants my money, and he answered yes. Even when he said he didn't want to help me with my pain. The next day I went back the emergency room still in extreme pain, and they apologized for sending me to him, that I should have been sent to a neurologist instead, which they set up an appointment with on Friday. I do not recommend this doctor for any reason unless you just want to throw money away.
