I had been suffering with pain and wrong diagnosis' from other gastroenterologist for over 4 months. I flew from Chicago for this appointment because he is a doctor to my dad and my dad thought for sure he could help me and he was right. Dr Goodell knew exactly what was going on after listening to my story and reviewing all previous tests and lab work etc. He was able to diagnose and treat me and finally give me pain relief as well as a treatment plan. I was also having pain in my right hip and leg and he felt I should have a bone scan which showed a L3 lumbar facet arthropathy of my spine which is one main causes of hip and leg pain. What a genius. Solving 2 bullets in one. Very kind and patient and really thinks about each person and what is unique for them not some standard formula for everyone! Thank you Dr. Goodell. And of course my dad for getting me this appointment.

It was a miracle after 3 months of terrible right side abdomen pain to receive an accurate diagnosis from Dr. Goodell. He was also able to give me a steroid shot which put me to ease for the first time in 3 months. It was wonderful to be with an intelligent doctor who thinks! Not to mention has a very caring Spirit!

Dr. Goodell is one of the best doctors I have and I have a whole raft of specialists. My daughter, Alice, had quite a few digestive disorders when HER gastroenterologist (Dr. Doyle, across the hall -- crackpot) fired her. Dr. Goodell agreed to see her and saw her once before she died of epilepsy (SUDEP) at the age of 29. Dr. Goodell gave us some comfort in knowing she would have him by her side. He makes us feel secure in the knowledge that he cares and knows what he's doing.

Dr. Goodell phoned me at home, on his day off, to let me know my biopsy results. He personally called the surgeon and asked her to see me quickly.

Should not be accepting new patients! My husband is very sick and he doesn't have time to even see him, pawns him off on idiot PA. Radiology results sat on his computer for a week while husband went without treatment, we were told he was improving and CT revealed worsening. Now racing to get back on antibiotics to keep him out of the OR. They DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING BUT YOUR $$$$$$!

Dr. Goodell is a very intelligent and caring person with numerous years of experience. His staff are more than helpful and friendly as well. I would recommend him highly to any of my family and friends.
