Dr. Steven Irwin Goodman, MD

I recently visited Rheumatology and met Dr. Goodman. I was in so much pain and desperate for answers. He truly listened, showed genuine care, ordered X-rays and labs, and explained his thoughts on what might be happening. Even though he isn’t taking new patients, he scheduled a follow-up because he wants to get to the root of my issue. His empathy, compassion, and professionalism stood out—he made me feel like a person, not just another patient. I’m grateful and confident in his care.

Very scary bcs he insisted on me taking prolia for my bones bcs I’m on steroid med and I have osteoporosis mild. He said if I don’t take shot he can’t treat me and cancelled my meds. Two other Reumatologist told me there are side effects he told me know other doctors told me there is another shot with less side effects they told me about jaw possible problems with shot that I have to take care of teeth before shot if you need to pull teeth I pulled tooth and oral surgeon said I have to wait three months before getting shot bcs I pulled tooth. I told Goodman I wanted a week or two to research this prolia and he tells me no I just want treat you. I m so happy I didn’t listen to him I could have had big problems.

I tired making an appt for my daughter who just turned 18 .... she has CMS as her medical ins. Got denied as a new pt !!!!! Y ???? Because we had cancelled one appt the first appt because we didn’t get her medical records from the pervious dr....dr Goodman I have a question for u how can u sleep at night !!!! it’s a shame

Excellent, professional doctor. took a long time explaining what treatment he advised me to do. was patient and very understanding. give him the highest rating as i found him outstanding

He takes care of my arthritic knee. I can't get shots too often, so I wait and wait until I'm limping, using the bannister to get up and down the stairs, etc. Two days after I see him I'm okay again. Also, I like and respect him.

Best DR. I've ever seen With him 12 years never give him or staff up!!!!!

Great experience with Dr. Goodman! He is very careful and thorough. If he makes you laugh , it is to relax you and keep you positive.

He is the most caring, helpful, intelligent doctor that I've seen.

Dr goodman is very abusive in his physical evals and verbal remarks. He should not be allowed to practice on children.

the office staff is wonderful but nothing compared to the experience you have with dr. goodman. absolutely the best doctor I have ever had. truly cares about his patients, excellent with the diagnosis, superb bedside manner, takes all the time you need for appointment and never rushes you out. sole goal is your health and how to make you feel the best you can. just wish they offered free wifi in the waiting room as sometimes there is a wait to see him- but as I said worth every minute I sit there. Would not use any other in this field. slyvia, his nurse is very helpful and professional. jody the medical assistant is superb as well. awesome doctor and experience!
