Dr. Steven Lee Gotlib, MD

Dr.Gotlib is very professional and offers great feedback and advise. My previous doctor never offered much in the way of response to my issues. I was lucky to find Dr. Gotlib he breaks down and analyzes my concerns and we are usually able to get to the root of the problem. I would absolutely recommend him. My personal experience was wonderful for the first time in my life I realized I was my own worst enemy and basically got my act together. My personal life, professional life, and finances flourished thanks to the help I received.

Highly recommended listens to me. Helps me with life problems. Have worked with him for 13 years. Caring and understands me as an individual. Cares about my life and is very sypathethetic. Very pleased with Dr. G

This guy is REALLY BAD! I should have known when I asked a friend of mine, who is also in psychiatry, what he's heard of Dr. Gotlib and he laughed. He then told me he's known as a "joke." Unfortunately, I didn't listen to him and did't see any horrible reviews and now I've learned the hard way. He really is bad. I hope someone reads this and decides to go elsewhere. This guy once sent me a text, asking me if we could push back our appointment a couple hours and then sent another text right after saying I still owed him $200 from a previous visit. Of course I said yes to the first, and proceeded to tell him I had a receipt and didn't owe him anything. He asked me to bring in the receipt, which I did. Nothing wrong with that, right? Well, a couple weeks later, I get a bill for $200 for an "extended phone conversation!" I almost spit out my coffee! I looked at the supposed date of these "extended phone conversation" on my phone and sure enough, it was HIM texting ME about rescheduling and… falsely accusing me of owing him $200!!! That's just one example of him doing anything to rip you off! He also will do anything and everything to talk about himself, and will actually cut you off when speaking to talk about his family or his self. I can go on and on. Please, save yourself the head ache and see someone else. By the way, he's always taking new patients because he horrible at what he does.

I've saw him for a few years and, I couldn't ask for a better doctor. He really seems to care and helps me with other doctors and handles the insurance people excellent.

Gotlib claims expertise in treating addiction, but it was anything but evident to me in his approach to treatment.
