Best doctor ever!!

My ankle replacement was in 2008. Dr. Haddad was very kind and sympathetic. However, I would not call my replacement successful. I had aggressive scar tissue formation leaving my ankle in a painful state. A year later, he decided to do a surgery to remove the scar tissue. I did aggressive physical therapy to try to minimize scar tissue regrowth and it all grew back. Dr. Haddad told me my case was "unique" and that he had no other patients that developed scar tissue like I have. There is little to no improvement since my replacement and I am still suffering. I am unable to walk with my foot straight and my knees have gone bad as a result. I would give Dr. Haddad 5 stars on his kindness and his attempt to help me. The replacement itself I will give a "1" rating. I really hoped to regain an active life and have been unable to. I was 37 years old at the time my ankle was replaced.

I had an Ankle replacement 7 years ago and I can not believe that it works perfectly. Dr. Haddad was very strict about after care, but all of it paid off. I wish the other doctors would have taking pride in their work as well.

I am in post surgery recovery at the moment. I had an extensive foot deformity reconstruction. This man is a genius and he is committed to you if you will listen and are committed to his instruction. I look forward to week 13 when I am able to stand and start taking steps again. I cannot rate this doctor highly enough!

I am a nurse. Do your research like I did and you’ll find out he is the doctor for ankle replacements. Doctors from all over the country send their patients to him. His specialty is ankles/ foot. He did my total ankle replacement 9 months ago after having 2 previous surgeries under other doctors. Replacement is great! 5 stars for diagnostic skill, surgical skill, bedside manner, spending time with patient and follow up communication. His staff is 5 star as well. I travel 1 hour to see Dr. Haddad. Met a man from SC at his office who flies back to see only him. That speaks volumes!

A year ago I went to see Dr. Haddad for a second opinion for surgery. I choose the first doctor instead. I decided to seek Dr. Haddad's opinion again today since I was in extreme pain and all the other doctors said there was nothing they could do. The first thing he asked me was why I came back to him since I chose the other doctor. I answered honestly. He then told me my foot was a mess and why should he fix what another doctor did. I was speechless! At the end of the conversation he said " I don't want to be crude but I think maybe you should amputate your foot and that would solve the problem." I thought he was very rude and I would never recommend him to anyone.

Three years ago I fell 20 feet off a ladder and had 4 surgeries to put my ankle back together. After recovering from the initial injury (pilon fracture - very ugly) I was recommended to Dr. Haddad while considering an ankle fusion or replacement. A year ago we proceeded with the replacement and have zero pain today. Very happy with Dr. Haddad and his team - changed my life for the better.

Dr. Haddad was an answer to prayer. I searched for almost 5 years for answers and saw many specialists and had all the different tests, at least twice. I was referred to him by another doctor in the practice and Dr Haddad was the only foot and ankle surgeon I had seen (and I had seen at least three-- one being from a top medical school)to look beyond all the test that said nothing was wrong. He knew something was wrong just from doing a physical examination of my foot/ankle. I cannot believe the person who said that he does not care about you after surgery. I had excellent care by him and his entire staff and would recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent foot and ankle surgeon.
