Dr. Steven Elliot Hahn, MD

He likes to discharge patients from his care if knows he has messed up and you know too much.Now is see I'm not the only one getting a discharge letter.Quite discouraging and bad bedside manners for a healthcare provider.

Dr. Hahn and his staff were professional, respectful, thorough, caring and, reassuring. I left my endoscopy and colonoscopy screenings feeling well taken care of from the beginning of the process through the end and follow up. Thank you Dr. Hahn!!! A+++

Having known Dr. HAHN for over 15 years and after having several preventative check ups and procedures the experience with Dr. Hahn and his staff has been Nothing short of exceptional In every way as the doctor is very attentive, thorough and experienced. I recently had a teleconferencing in relation to questions and preventative issues and it couldn’t of been more seamless and easy with the doctor following up within minutes of our conversation. With Dr. Hahn it feels like having a doctor in the family. Thank you Dr Hahn and staff for helping maintain my excellent health!

Dr. Hahn was patient, knowledgeable, and listened to all of my concerns. He is an excellent doctor, and an even better person! I highly recommend. While his receptionists were disorganized and the waiting period was longer than I had hoped, it was well worth the wait!

was a patient of dr. Hahn's for 10 years. in the last year my condition worsened and I did not want a colonoscopy at this time as the one I had was 2016. there were other tests that could be done and the doctor did not order any of them. I did let him know how I felt and his ego emerged and he discharged me from his practice I accept I could have been more tactful but I did not deserve what he wrote about me. he refused to even discuss this with me.

He told my husband my nausea and discomfort was all in my head. He did an endoscopy without a biopsy. I felt quite ill and knew something was wrong. Second opinion endoscopy found three ulcers and biopsy positive for H pylori. I never went back to him and never would.

I have been a patient of Dr Hahn’s for 25 years. He is one of the kindest, most patient doctors I’ve ever had the privilege to be cared for. I have a rare condition which he diagnosed after multiple other misdiagnoses which demonstrates a very open mind. He spends a extraordinarily amount of time with patients being sure to answer every question in plain English. I happened to be in the office waiting room when the previous woman writing that mean spirited review was seen. She was extremely belligerent and is misrepresenting the episode and the reason I know this is she ranted and raved about a $300 bill when she entered the office loud enough for the entire building to hear. His receptionist, who has extraordinary patience, calmly explained that the bill represented her portion of the deductible for her colonoscopy. She refused to accept any rational explanation for the bill and continued to berate his receptionist for approximately 10 minutes not allowing anyone else to check in. She… was so angry when she was summoned back to see the doctor that I was amazed she was not asked to leave the office immediately. She stormed back out of the office after 10” past me screaming that”he won’t listen, he has a closed mind and he asked me to find another physician.” This woman was simply a disgruntled patient, angry about a bill, and I am writing this to protect Dr. Hahn’s good name as I know her story to be false. I am disappointed with Dr. Hahn and his office...He did a good job with my colonoscopy, meaning I lived, no issues. However, that is far as I can go with this doctor. They advertise that they are there to help you with your digestive problems, but that is not true from my experience. They make their money doing colonoscopies, they even own their own building. THAT IS ALL THEY CARE ABOUT! After having diverticulosis and being on antibiotics for several weeks, I sought Dr. Hahn out because, like you, his reviews looked good...Not so fast...After having a different kind of stomach pain, I called Dr. Hahn to see me. It took almost a month to get in, even after telling his staff how sick I was. When the big day arrived, I had done my homework, and wanted him to test me for SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth)...He said, "Where did you hear about that?"...I said, I had done some homework, and on the medical websites, I visited, there are MILLIONS of people who have the same… symptoms that I do...He mocked me, and told me not to read so much on the internet. He did not want to explore anything beyond the diverticulosis diagnosis, I once had! Even though, you can read at many well-respected sites about SIBO, he did not have an open mind. He said the tests were too expensive...(Actually, they were not, and I went on to have them with another doctor). When I insisted he test me, he threw me out of his office, and said, I should find another doctor. He said, he would waive my office visit. As of today, several months later, his very incompetent staff are still billing me. He also billed my insurance company for over $300. Shame on him! Health and healing is a team sport...I do not like that some doctors such as Dr. Hahn dismiss what the patient is feeling or their intuition. It is part of the human gestalt! This doctor did not care about my health or getting to the bottom of my problem. It would have taken him more than the 15 minutes that they alot you for your visit! He always looked overwhelmed, and probably has booked way too many appointments that he can handle. I would advise anyone with stomach problems to do your research, and DO NOT work with a doctor that has such a closed mind or who refuses to HELP YOU by not exploring all possibilities. I place Dr. Hahn in the Medical Hall of Shame and any other doctor with the same attitude. Get Real, and Get helpful or retire already!

I have used Dr. Hahn for a colonoscopy and an endoscopy. He is very patient explaining the procedures and immediately follows up with you with his findings. His office is friendly and I would highly recommend this physician.
