Very well spoken. Smooth. Understanding. Caring. Followup on conditions is excellent.

Doesnt listen to his patient's concerns. Just want them out of his office as quickly as possible. No follow ups either.

Withheld food and stubbornly refused to seek verifiable test results which would have resolved the matter.

I would not recommend Dr Hill to anyone. He doesnt spend any time with patients and wants you out of his office as quick as posdible. He mis diagnosed my illness and caused me to have unneccessary procedures.

Very poor manner with patient. Does not communicate well. Not at all thorough. Does not require any follow up.

Good doctor seems to get right to the issues . Has helped me with frequent urination and a very sour née

At the appointment I asked many questions regarding my medical concern and I expected more of a verbal response to my concerns. Dr. Hill's responses were not as interactive as I would have expected. My viewpoint was not really taken and it appeared I was not really valued for the input I shared. I left the appointment not feeling the questions I asked were fully addressed. My understanding is that in 2017 the physician and the patient are a team. Open dialog is so important to patient care and wellbeing. I am seeking a physician that demonstrates excellent verbal patient interaction skills. Dr. Hill appears to have wonderful credentials and awards however I will continue to seek a physician that demonstrates an open team approach to patient medical care that is the future for superb medical care especially needed in a progressive state of the art hospital setting.

Steven D. Hill MD is a Five Star Clinician & a Fabulous PCP: 1).This is a compassionate bright physician who really listens to his patients & is willing to get to know his patients thoroughly. Because he is genuinely listening to his patients he gets to know & understand them as living, breathing, feeling whole vulnerable human beings, not just another 15 minute slot on the schedule. 2). Because he is sincerely interested in his patients & what they say, he comes to know not only their physical condition but becomes familiar with their emotional, spiritual, financial, social & environmental makeup. With this knowledge & familiarity he discovers how ones' health & over-all well being are affected by their personal beliefs; values; fears; stresses; family, friends & living style. He makes a genuine effort to get to know his patients so that he can better assist them in maximizing their health status. 2). Doctor Hill has the patience, skill & motivation to handle complex,… confusing & sometimes overwhelming medical symptoms & conditions. He is the calm in the middle of a storm. 3) When presented with a patient who has multi-system problems, confusing signs & symptoms, he has the skill & a unique knack of sorting through all this, organizing the information in a very logical manner & streamlining an effective step-by-step plan & follow-up. 4). He always follows up to determine if the patients' prescribed treatment plan is working or if it needs tweaking. So many physicians skip this very important step. 5). Doctor Hill is a real partner to me in my health. He includes me in creating my treatment plan. He uses his knowledge of me, my likes, dislikes & ability in tailoring my Treatment Plan. He speaks to me as an equal. He asks me what I think the cause of my problem is; what I think I need or need to do to effectively treat my conditionsâ?¦ 6) Doctor Hill has the patience of a Saint. I'm on a lot of medications & because of many reasons I unfortunately end up having to call the office to get him to write numerous prescriptions (meds, supplies & other) between appointments. He always gladly provides what I need, without complaint. 7) He came to check on me in the hospital when I had Hip surgery. This is â??going the extra mileâ?? & more than anything reflects the type of human being this man is. 8). He's one of the few doctors that I've ever had that I feel comfortable discussing anything with. He is a very respectful & sincerely kind practitioner & human being. 9) He spends time with me & never appears rushed, even though he has many patients. I've never had any long waits in his office. 10) His staff is courteous & very nice. 11). When I have a significant issue between appointments, I've always been able to get an appointment to see him. SUMMARY: 12) Doctor Hill is a genuinely caring person, has a great deal of integrity & is a very skilled internist. He's a True Blue Professional. He is someone I can trust with my healthcare. If I become seriously ill or am not competent to make my health care decisions I want this doctor to be caring for me. This kind of medical professional simply does not come along every day. Steven D. Hill MD is one in a million & I'm keeping him. I'm so happy I was lucky enough to find him while he was still accepting new patients.
