Dr. Steven James Hodge, MD

Poor experience

I have been seeing Dr. Hodge for thirty years and often took my Father for his skin cancer checkups which showed many basal cell carcinomas due to his careless, almost daily golfing without a hat or the use of lotion with an SPF of 50. I really didn't think I would ever need him for skin cancer since I never spent time in the sun even as a child but alas skin cancer can apparently crop up anywhere on your body and mine did at age 59 on the left flank of my hip under my panties, which is even more odd but Dr. Hodge told me not to be surprised because skin cancer doesn't have to have a component of the sun to arise from your body. I feel very fortunate to have a physician who's Board Certified in BOTH Dermatology and Pathology. Those are rare doctor who are able to read their own slides which make diagnosis more prompt but also in my case makes me feel specially cared for by this debonair man who I enjoy seeing even if the news is slightly bad and requires a biopsy and/more. Dr.… Hodge is a joy to see and always very positive no matter what he finds.
