Dr. Steven E Holbrook

Dr. Holbrook is a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry,  and a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.  He is also a member of the American Dental Association and the New Mexico Dental Association.  He was the first Dentist in Albuquerque to receive Class II Certification through the Academy of Laser Dentistry.  He is a past president of the New Mexico Academy of General Dentistry and the Western District of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.  He has given lectures at Dental Meetings across the globe, and has been published many times in well respected dental publications. In 2010, he received the Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition Award from the Academy of General Dentistry.
A Personal Message From Dr. Holbrook:
Welcome to our website!  I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself.  Through this site, you can learn a lot about our practice, now I'd like to tell …you a little about myself.
I was born and raised in New Mexico.  Albuquerque is my hometown.  I graduated from Sandia High School and the University of New Mexico.  I attended Washington University School of Dental Medicine in St. Louis, MO, as one of two student scholars from the state of New Mexico.
I always dreamed of practicing dentistry in Albuquerque and I have been living that dream since 1984.  I have a "dream team" that makes dentistry not only rewarding, but fun.  We attend classes for dental offices together and meet twice a month for staff meetings to share ideas and to keep abreast of the newest developments in dentistry.
Dentistry is not a job to me, but my avocation.  I believe strongly in continuing education and attend numerous classes each year for general dentistry, implantology and esthetics. 
I am happily married to a local attorney.  We have a daughter that is a delight and a challenge.  She is a Lobo, University of New Mexico of course, attending UNM on a presidential scholarship.  My parents also live in Albuquerque, and to make my family complete, I have two very spoiled dogs.
I have a great practice, a terrific staff, a fantastic family and a wonderful life! In fact, my favorite movie is It's a Wonderful Life!  I am truly a fortunate man and I welcome you to our website.
