Dr. Steven J Hughes, MD

My 4 children were evaluated by Dr Hughes many years ago. I see he only has one review and I am not sure how anyone offers a rating of 2/5 without any details or perspective- so I will offer mine. We first saw Dr Hughes with my daughter at the U of MN he was busy but took the time to explain the process and provided good feedback. We found this a better experience than my husband had after a concussion with Dr Sullivan at the U of MN who offered zero feedback or reporting despite our payment for both. Dr Hughes was great after leaving the University but his lack of attention to the detail in the reports and follow up was significant. I had to email several times to get the testing results and reports but eventually I got 2 of them- he moved over seas without sending the final. I blamed it on his being in private practice and having to type up a lot on his own. Other than the lack of promised reports I feel like he was great at diagnostics and suggested treatment plans. I hope he… returns to the area again. I would be confident in his diagnosis but in the future I would withhold final payment until the reports are received.
