Steven Hunnell, MD, is the co-owner of Penn Cove Anesthesia and part of a team that provides 24/7 anesthesiology services to Whidbey General Hospital. As a board certified anesthesiologist, Dr. Hunnell is trained in all facets of general anesthesia and invasive monitoring. He provides complete perioperative care, which is the treatment of patients preparing for, undergoing and recovering from surgery. Dr. Hunnell chairs our Peer Review Committee, which evaluates the hospitals care to ensure it meets quality and patient safety standards. He joined our medical staff in 2009.
