Very thorough. Contacted my cardiologist and pulmonary MD to make sure what my surgery options were. Its good to see someone actually care about the patient.

My son has had a minor heart murmur since he was a baby. He is twenty years old and is getting braces, wisdom teeth pulled and a jaw reconstruction that was to be completed by the end of the year. The office scheduled him and said they needed a formal letter of clearance from our doctor. We immediately called the doctor (over a week ago) and they said that they would fax it. We told Dr Jacks office to call us back the next day if they hadn't received it. They called TODAY saying that they hadn't got the letter and now Dr jacks had changed his mind and cancelled. They blamed my wife for not following up about the letter even though they hadn't called us back saying they hadn't got it. Then when we said we would deliver it today in person, they said no, Dr Jacks had made up his mind and they will not be asking him to reconsider. So, if they had received the letter one week ago, he would do the surgery this Friday. But if he receives the SAME letter of clearance today, he refuses to. We… have spent money here with assurances that he would do it. We are now forced to scramble to find someone to do it quickly to fit into the schedule of all the other work being done. He owes me for monies paid. I know his office workers are not to be blamed for their fear of him but she could have been nicer while trying to explain his irrational, inconsiderate and unarguable decision to cancel. I'd be ashamed of him. (And maybe they are).

My daughter had surgery at his office. They were great. Our other child had surgery at another surgeon's office. I would only go to Dr. Jacks in the future
