Dr. Steven R Jacobson, MD

Dr. Jacobson is an awesome plastic surgeon. I am just sad he is leaving his current place of employment as my surgery requires a second part, and I want him and only him to finish. I will try to see where his new practice is and try to schedule there. I hope Dr. Jacobson can let his current pt.'s know where he can be found without a conflict of interest with his current place of employment.

Dr. Jacobson is one of the kindest, most skilled professionals I have ever had. He listens and will advise what is best in each situation. I have recommended him to several people that have also had breast cancer surgery and every single one has been nothing but pleased. He is a blessing to me!

Of all the plastic surgeons I have seen at Mayo Clinic, Dr. Jacobson is by far the nicest and most talented of them all. He was able to do what all of the others could not do and finally gave me a satisfied result and a long lasting solution to what had been an ongoing and very uncomfortable situation for far too many years. He not only has my thanks and my gratitude but also my highest recommendation. He truly has a calling.

At seventy-three years of age I was lucky enough to have Dr Steve Jacobson recommended to me for facial plastic surgery. I didnâ??t want to look like â??a Barbie dollâ?? but did want to shed some of my wrinkles. Dr Jacobson listened intently to what I wanted and did exactly what I had hoped for and his skills and care have given me a fantastic result. I cannot thank him enough for the time he took to take away years of sun and age wrinkles from my face and neck without altering the personality of my face. Three months later I find myself needing a mastectomy and have requested that Dr Jacobson be my surgeon for the breast reconstruction. Someone said â??ten starsâ?? â?? I definitely agree with that.

Dr. Steve Jacobson is AMAZING!!! I couldn't have been more impressed or had a better experience from start to finish!!!!! He is professional, kind, brilliant and articulate. His skills put him in a class as a gifted miracle worker! He performed plastic surgery as a reconstruction from a bilateral mastectomy. All I can say is thanks a million to Dr. Jacobson as I look and feel beautiful. I am very grateful as a young lady! Every day I am grateful he was my plastic surgeon! I trust him with my dearest friends!

I waited a month to get an appointment with Dr. Steven Jacobson then drove all day just for a consultation. Within 5 minutes of the consultation he was stating what he could not do. Unfortunately he NEVER took the time to listen or ask what my wants or expectations were for the visit. He assumed I wanted the unattainable when in fact I just wanted any improvement. If a plastic surgeon at one of the top hospitals in our country has that little confidence in his abilities I strongly feel he doesn't belong. In the end I have decided to have my surgery with someone that is more confident in their work and focusing on what they CAN do instead of what they can't!
