Steven Jakubaitis, DMD
I knew from a very young age that I wanted to improve the lives of people through dentistry. It is very gratifying to give my patients the function or aesthetics they didn’t have before, leading them to walk out of our office with a renewed sense of confidence and a smile on their face. I am very fortunate to do something every day that I love. It’s very easy to go to work when you truly enjoy your profession, staff, and patients.
My team and I care about each patient as if they were members of our own family, and treat them with kindness and respect from the first phone call until they walk out the door. We take the time to get to know our patients. My team members are friendly, caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional.
Education and Continuing Education
I attended Holy Cross, where I graduated in 1981 with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Chemistry. I continued on to dental school at Boston University, where I …earned my Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1985. I am a firm believer in maintaining a lifelong dedication to learning. I continue my education through courses and seminars throughout the country and far exceed the minimum requirements outlined by the state. These courses help me to refine and expand my knowledge and techniques and keep me up-to-date with the newest developments in dentistry.

I am originally from Wethersfield, CT, and currently live in Deep Creek with my wife, Kim, and our cats Scout and Simba. When I have free time I like playing golf, exercising, enjoying fine food and wine, and spending quality time with my wife. It is also very important to me to give back to the community where I live. I volunteer as a dentist for Project Dental Care and Give Kids a Smile. I am also on the Board of Directors for the Charlotte County YMCA, secretary for the Y's Men's Club, and Committee Chairman of the Charlotte Challenge.
