Born in New York City, Dr. Kafko attended Brooklyn College. He graduated in 1968 with a B.A. degree in biology. He then attended NYU College of Dentistry and graduated in 1972. He participated in a three-year residency program in the United States Air Force, where he achieved the rank of Captain. He has had extensive training in prosthetics and oral surgery. Dr. Kafko has been in private practice for over years. He is a member of the ADA. Dr. Kafko has diverse interests that include writing, running, and ballroom dancing.
