Dr Steven Katznelson, MD

This review is probably long overdue. Dr Katznelson was my intake doctor with my first appointment with transplant clinic after I found out my kidneys were going south and not turning back no matter what I tried to do with diet and e exercise. He had the best side manners when both my wife and I spoke to him about the transplant program. My transplant match exchange came through 2yrs later in 2016 and I've been 8yrs clear and doing well. There was an 18 month up and down period before stabilizing but since end of 2018, it's been been living on borrowed time. I was fortunate to have 3 or 4 friends volunteer to donate a kidney to me but all ended not the best candidates. On after transplant surgery and since that the pandemic, I have been lucky to have follow-up semi-annual video visits with Dr Katznelson on half the visits. He is always so positive at each visit. I just had brain surgery Tuesday and he stopby Thursday to see how I was doing and glad he did. It was a refresh for a very… exhausting 2 days. Gave me a chance to clarify with him on a couple of things.
