Dr. Steven Kazenoff, MD

I took my 12 year old daughter to him for acne. After spending 90 min in his waiting room we spent 3 min in his office for him to tell us she had acne. Yes we knew that. We expected him to discuss a treatment t regimen with us that could treat it and prevent scarring instead he pushed on us the latest drug the drug companies have pushed on him. None of which insurance will pay for so my child will probably be left untreated which is unfortunate because there are so many options for acne. Also he tried to push a specific pharmacy on me calling it a specialist in dermatology. I know there is no such thing. This visit wasn't waste of my time.

Dr. Kazanoff is a great doctor. I would highly recommend him. He treated me for basal cell carcinoma for over a year, always with the utmost care and professionalism. If you're in the Princeton area, you can do no better than Dr. Kazanoff.

Bells and whistles should have gone off as soon as I saw I was the only one waiting for a dermatologist. Every other one I ever went to was backed up and packed, (and I have seen lots). Seems reluctant or scared to say much about anything/problem. I tried him over and over to be fair so it was not just a bad day. I did not know of this rating system before, because if I did I would not have started with the good Doctor.

Dr. Kazenoff knows his stuff. He is a good doctor,

For my initial visit I waited 30 minutes, but for the 2 follow-up visits I didn't wait at all. Dr. Kazenoff if soft-spoken and does not talk a lot, but our family has been going to him for about 12 years now and he has ALWAYS correctly diagnosed the problem and corrected it. My son suffered from cystic acne, which not only hurts, but hurts to look at. Dr. Kazenoff listened to my son and then treated him; within a short period of time his acne was under control and now, at the age of 24, you'd never know how extreme his case was! He has a clear complexion!

In my third trimester of pregnancy I developed a painful rash on my hand. Concerned that this rash may indicate a serious condition for me or the baby I made an appointment with the dermatologist. Upon entering the office, I realized I hadn't transfered my health insurance card to my new wallet. I was able to contact my husband and get the group number from his card but I was informed that the Doctor would not see me because I did not have my insurance card in hand. I rushed home and grabbed my card and called the office back to see see if I could still get in. They said NO and that the next available appointment was a week later. The office staff were rude and unaccommodating. I would NEVER recommend this Doctor to anyone.

Was not happy with this dr. Felt like it was a waste of my time. I went for a scan to see if any skin damage and he never looked at anything I showed him. I have been to a different dermatologist years ago and this dr doesnt even come close to the exam I was given then!!! Don't waste your time or money!!

The doctor is not outspoken where the patients always expect it. Diagnosis is like trial and error methods. No promptness and no accuracy. Not at all satisfied with this doctor.
