Dr. Steven Mark Kelly, MD

I recently had a colectomy for colon cancer. He was very informative, asked if I had any questions, and the surgery went very well. Minimal pain afterward, and a very thin, clean incision. A couple of the nurses who took care of me, said if they had to have surgery, he's the Dr they would ask for.

As someone who knew this dr on a more personal level I thought he would have been more understanding. Didn’t want to do surgery on another surgeons recommendation who did the surgery himself. Hmm interesting. Great guy and doc but seemed to have been swayed into not doing a surgery when another surgeon said he wouldn’t do it but did it anyway without hesitation abd me the patient suffered complications I don’t think I would have suffered if dr k would have done it himself. Just wished he would have listened to his patient and their wishes more

I recently had gallbladder surgery, and Dr. Kelly performed the producedure without a hitch. He was personable, and his staff was delightful throughout. I have seen a few complaints here about a long wait time in his office—I was seen on time and was in and out within 15 minutes. I am very grateful for Dr. Kelly’s help.

Dr. Kelly was awesome. I had all kinds of complications due to not having my surgery when he said my gallbladder needed to come out. Two years later I finally did have it out and Dr. Kelly took really good care of me throughout my long hospital stay.

Dr Kelly is amazing. He takes care of you like you were a part of his family. His staff is top of the line. I would recommend him to anyone.

This surgeons office is clean, all staff are courteous, and professional. The anesthetist didnt use enough anesthesia, as i originally requested. Wait times are rather long 1-1 1/2 hours. Doc does not give adequate, effective pain meds. To help deal with the after pain of the surgery. Writhing in pain after this operation, pleading for more or different meds, pleas fall on deaf ears. I expect the procedure was done correctly, but too early to know. For those with an extremely high threshold for pain i would recommend this doctor as He appears to be able to do the procedures correctly. For all others would never recommend this Doc.

Dr. Kelly is a fine surgeon, his courtesy and professionlism is beyond reproach, he cares, he's concerned and follows through with what he says he is going to do. My only problem here is the wait time on my follow up visit, had a 3pm appointment and was seen at 4:30pm, 1 & 1/2 hours is a long time to wait.
