Dr. Steven Charles Kimmel, MD

Dr Kimmel is a very caring and well informed Dr. He cares deeply for his patients and is always looking for solutions to help with advice and lower cost medications. He calls after hours and spends as much time as needed answering my questions.

Dr Kimmel is very knowledgeable, and he truly cares about his patient's with kindness and understanding

Unbelievable depth of knowledge.

My Mother had Osteoporosis. When I went to Dr. Kimmel I had Osteopoenia. After about 4 years of his treatment with Vitamin D and Evista I do not have Osteopoenia. HOORAY

On my first visit to Dr. Kimmel I found him to be very informative but he mumbles and speaks in circles. He diagnosed me with a problem and told me that the tests that I brought him form the hoospital were no good and he needed to redo them to get accurate records. I paid for him to redo the tests. On my followup his diagnosis was completely different than the first one I was given and he didn't want to explain why it had changed. He also wanted to put me immediately on very toxic meds that I did not want to go on, as I was not suffering any symtoms at the time. He was very persistent and would not take no for an answer. I would not make another appointment as he never even addressed my reason for going in in the first place which was why re ran allthose tests again. I felt as if his office was a mill. Three of my employees had a very similiar experience to mine and are also lookign for another Rhuematology group.

His use of Forteo and Reclast transformed osteoporosis to Osteopoenia.Hurrah! I'm now trying Savella for severe pain. As I write, I took it 35 minutes ago, after eating. Some somnolence & dizziness is setting in, but not bad. Hopefully, this will be another breakthru in pain mangmt.Thank you Dr. Kimmel.
