Steven N. Klein, DPM, is a caring podiatrist with over 30 years of experience. Further, US scanning may avoid the need for scheduling (and paying for) an MRI. ShockWave therapy is a 7-minute office procedure that uses pulses of deep ultrasound (not the same as provided by physical therapists) for healing chronic conditions that might otherwise require surgery, such as plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis.
