I went to the emergency room for what my primary care physician said was a likely infection. At the ER I was seen by this doctor. Despite clear instructions from my primary care physician which I provided to him in a note from her, he ripped them up in front of my face, and suggested that my doctor was overreacting because she was a woman. A week later I was hospitalized with a septic infection. I do not recommend this doctor for anything.

Saw him at Fairview Riverside Emergency. He was very dismissive, as if I deserved what had happened to me. Didn't do X-rays, CAT Scan or an MRI. He basically told me to take some aspirin & go home. There was no Domestic Assault Advocate as he didn't think I needed one. I ended up going to Fairview Southdale where I was diagnosed w/ a concussion and they x-rayed me to make sure my cheekbones & jaw weren't broken. I suffered fainting spells for the next several months & had PTSD symptoms for the next 2 years.

He was negligent in my daughters care. In addition, he was rude, dismissive of her needs and care, condescending, and demeaning. Our family has had 2 similar experiences with Dr. Steven Klos at the FUMC ER. What a terrible shame. I agree with the previous post.

Dr.Klos was so so attentive and informative! He was so straight forward and honest! The first doctorI've seen that didn't try to push meds on me for a quick fix. I'll definitely be back to see him!

I had the misfortune of having Dr. Klos as my dr during a recent ER visit. The man was condescending, refused to speak with my spouse despite my request that he do so, and in general had the bedside manner of a gnat. Too bad we can't choose our ER docs because I'd stay away from this one.
