Dr. Steven Sanguk Koh, MD

He is by far one of the best physician out there if not the best. I truly miss that he had moved. I am seriously thinking of traveling the few times a year I need to see a doctor just so I can get the best care by seeing Dr. Koh

Misdiagnosed the problem...which is inevitable when you don't allow your patient to get a full sentence out without shouting over them. That's right, SHOUTING. The most bizarre interaction with a healthcare professional of my life. My closest friends and family members are doctors, surgeons, nurses, PTs, naturopaths, etc..so I get that this is difficult work and that sometimes when a human is having an awful day or is extra stressed out, their bedside manner might suffer. I would never write a negative review based on a doctor having a rough day. In fact, I've never complained about a health care professional over two decades of being an adult patient. But this doc RANTED, at high volume, about things totally unrelated to the matter at hand (e.g. the Canadian healthcare system...whaaaat??) and was straight up unhinged. Shouting at the person sitting in front of him in a wheelchair who was in acute pain. On top of it all, he wrote down a number of treatment protocols in his chart notes… that he never told us during our visit, he's clearly trying to cover himself in the event of a malpractice suit by falsifying medical records...which is FRAUD. So shady. I've reported him to the clinic's administration and will be doing the same w/ the state medical board. Weeks later and I'm still so angry and in a state of disbelief. Stay far away, folks, if you value your health.

Spoke to him for about two minutes and in this time he decided to lower the dose of the medication I was looking to increase, offered no explanation why, and would not listen to my protests against this. He came off as patronizing and judgmental as he rushed me out the door. I guess he had something better to do than his job.

From the beginning of my first appt with him, he was rather rude and not listening to my health complaints and tried to dismiss my opinion...I have NEVER had to work so hard as my own patient advocate as I have with this dr! He is getting one last chance next week...I am hoping his care/bedside manner improve....or I will find a new PCP!

Dr. Koh has been my primary doctor for more than 2 years. He always explanes about symtoms, diagnosis and treatment in detail. I have been completely satisfied with his treatments and medical knowledge about my personal health issues. In my experiences, he has been an excellent medical doctor.

Really seriously questioning that the previous reviewer visited the same Doctor my husband and I have. The Dr. Steven Koh we have visited was very thorough and made sure we understood everything about the diagnosis and what to do. And if we needed ANYTHING to be sure and call them. Thank you Dr. Koh for your help just wish you were still in our plan.

Dr. Koh spoke (yelled) from the literal first second he stepped into the exam room. He provided neither greeting nor introduction, and a very narrow window for just the bottom line condition. He knows nothing about my medical concerns, dosaging questions, and important details associated with my condition. As a result, I'm left with a prescribed medication I am not sure I should take. Even if I was comfortable taking the med, Dr. Koh failed even to prescribe me the syringes needed to administer the questionable dosage! To be objective, he did agree to fit me in free of charge to clear up dosaging questions. From this, he (unwittingly) yelled at me some more!
