My husband was a bit nervous about seeing a new urologist, however, DR. Koopman is as good as it gets. He has answered all our questions and spent enough time with us where we did not feel rushed. With a cancer diagnosis, we were really clueless, after the appointment, we felt confident and Dr. Koopman assured us that we could call him with any questions that came up. I highly recommend this doctor. The staff at the Foster Medical Pavillion can probably be more welcoming.

From the very moment I called to schedule an appointment to the second I walked into the office at 3000 N Halsted, I KNEW that I was in GREAT HANDS! I cannot speak highly enough of the COURTESY of the office staff. They are welcoming, polite, and they make you feel welcome. Unlike my PREVIOUS Urologist. Dr Koopman is warm, kind, genuinely caring and compassionate, and spends as much time as you need. After switching providers, this was my first visit with him. I am TOTALLY comfortable with entrusting my Urologist and Prostate help to Steven Koopman. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to anyone who has ever had trepidation about seeing a Urologist.
