Great surgeon

was recommended by a friend to see this oral surgeon. There is nothing against the oral surgeon, but the office. I was there for a x-ray, and most places would submit the cost to insurance and the rest one pay later as a deductible, instead it is opposite at this office. And, I was informed by my insurance, once I pay that amount there is no refund, nothing against my deductible, but I can wait for the office to submit a claim, but that did not happen. I pay the stated amount up front, not happy of course, because it was more then the stated amount. However, I have a follow up procedure over $4,000. I wanted the office to submit the quote to insurance before I pay, because it is like paying for an overpriced steak. I was promised that they will send the quote to insurance and they will call me. All, I got was a text message that I have yet to set up an appointment for propose treatment, and when I text message back, no reply, silence, not even a mail quote. I am guessing they are not… serious about doing business with me. And, I will make sure my friends will not do business with them. Would I recommend this office, no, expect to bring a lot of cash upfront, or a personal check for unexpected amount, or a credit limit way over the expected limit. I am unsure how anyone would rank this office so high, shill rating? I would had rank this office lower then 1-star

I highly recommend Dr. Koos. When I came I was so nervous but after meeting Dr.Koos and his staff I felt so comfortable. Great experience,awesome doctor and friendly staff. And most important thing my recovery was painless. Thank you Dr. Koos and staff!

Wisdom tooth extraction is, obviously, a scary experience for a lot of people. When I visited Ora for the first time for consultation, however, my fears were taken away and I was comforted by the professionalism, friendliness, cleanliness and overall feeling in the office. On top of everything, pricing is affordable, reasonable and well explained. For surgery day, everybody in the office was on top of making sure I felt well taken care of, and was aware of all the important steps to follow. Post-surgery, Dr. Steve Koos also directly reached out in the evening to follow-up with me, clarify any concerns that may have arisen, and give me his contact information so I can follow-up with him directly in case of any emergencies. I had an incredibly positive experience for what I consider a very nerve-wracking process, and I will for sure keep Ora in mind for any other oral surgery or implants need that arise moving forward. Keep up the great job, staff! You somehow managed to walk me… through a process that had me all worried and I couldn't be happier with the results and experience so far!

Dr Koos and his staff are very professional and friendly. They explain step by step what is wrong with our teeth and what can be done, as well as related insurance situation. The facilities are superb. And most of all, surgery and follow up go incredibly smoothly.

Although the wait time for a consultation appointment was well over an hour, I do think it was worth the wait. Dr. Koos was great in explaining his diagnosis and the procedure he recommended. I felt very much at ease with the procedure since Dr. Koos was so thorough in his explanation of the wisdom teeth removal, and he took the time to answer any questions I had as well. After the surgery, I received a follow-up call to check up on my healing progress and again, felt very assured. I would highly recommend Dr. Koos as it is now four days after surgery and I had minimal swelling and pain although I removed all four wisdom teeth, with two impacted, including one that was partially bone impacted.

Dr. Koos and his team were just Awesome. Great experience. Wisdom teeth extracted. I was a little nervous going in. The team got me relaxed, Dr Koos was great. Recovery was painless. I'm serious, no pain or swelling! Dr Koos even called me that evening to see how I was doing. The best doctor I have ever had!

I am afraid of Dentists as well as Oral Surgeons, however, Dr. Koos is exceptionally calming and through. This was my first time there and I was overly impressed with the entire staff. Even later that evening Dr. Koos called to check on me. I felt like I was in good hands and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good oral surgeon. Btw, the office feels like a Spa which also helps when you are nervous. Beautiful decor....

THE OFFICE STAFF IS SO UNINFORMED AND DO NOT RETURN PHONE CALLES. JUST PAID OVER 33K ON IMPLANTS AND IT HASN'T EVEN BEEN THREE MONTHS AND A TOOTH FELL OUT HAVE CALLED OFFICE THREE TIMES AND HAVE GOTTEN NO APPT OR CALL BACK. THEY ARE RUDE - ONE DR DOES NOT KNOW WHAT THE OTHER IS DOING. SO FAR IMPLANTS OK BUT WHEN WAS LIED TO AS TO WHAT WAS TO DONE AND NOW I HAVE A MISSING TOOTH OBVIOUS TO ANYONE - HOW DO I WORK AND WHY DO THEY NOT HAVE COMMON CORTESY TO GET ME IN RIGHT AWAY. DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY OF THERE OFFICES.

The two factors that led me to select Dr. Koos to help me resolve a challenging issue are in his background - his experience as a dentist and his qualifications as a medical professional. Together, these skills serve Dr. Koos very well in identifying the issue at hand. It is clear that his interest lies in applying his talent to and planning a treatment regimen that will bring about the positive changes that being sought by his patients. After experiencing the best and worst in dentistry, and having a significant number of professionals ignore my repeated pleadings for help, Dr. Koos took the time to review my history and records in detail. He included me in the process by discussing possible outcomes and potential future requirements while confirming my suspicions and restoring my faith at the same time. I trusted him, investing in the moment that would invariably change my life. As a success story with a truly positive outcome, Dr. Koos has helped to restore my health and for that… I am eternally grateful.
