Dr. Krakora attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Bacteriology in 1994. He then completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree in 1998 at the University of Pittsburgh and Doctor of Medicine Degree in 2001 at Drexel University. Dr. Krakora completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh in July 2004. A large portion of his training was focused on bone grafting and all-on-4 dental implant surgery.

Dr. Krakora is on active staff at Washington Hospital and Allegheny General Hospital. He has research articles published in major medical journals and is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Pennsylvania Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and is certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Krakora was excellent. He talked to me throughout the surgery making sure I was ok while he was working. He extracted 3 teeth and I was amazed at how quickly and effortlessly he removed them. I went to work the next day and everyone was amazed that I had no facial swelling and very little pain. Everyone wanted to know the doctors name and I was happy to recommend him. Two days later I received a letter and a text inquiring how I was feeling. A great Doctor with a great staff.

My husband had 5 teeth extracted by Dr. Humburger. He was excellent. However, a week later he was still in excruciating pain so he had to be seen again. Only this time he was seen by Dr. Krakura. He completely disregarded anything my husband tried to tell him. He was very rude and said "ya ya I heard your story". He told my husband he didnt see infection and that his cheek wasnt sown to his gum yet when we left my husband could smile and not feel the pulling anymore. He left there still in excruciating pain with no relief whatsoever. Soooo we called another dentist who fit him in that day. They actually told my husband they could see where his cheek had been sown to the gum and worse yet my husband had a dry socket. We are 2 treatments in and he is finally seeing some relief. This dr is terrible and I would never recommend him. Did not want to hear anything my husband said and had no compassion at all.

Dr Krakora and his staff are wonderful!! It exceeded my expectations! Never felt a thing. If I ever need another implant, He will be the Dr. I go to.

It was a great implant experience, the whole staff was wonderful. Will be going back for another implant in the future.

Between my husband and I we have six implants all under the professional care of Dr. Krakora. One part of the care is the follow up by the doctor and staff. Another comment is the commitment of the entire staff toward their patients.

went in for a implant, didn't know what to expect. i was in and out before i knew it.best dental experience i had in a long time. [that was a pulled tooth, install implant and temp tooth all within 30 minutes]

After spending a long weekend in and out of the ER with severe tooth pain, Dr Krakora and his staff got me in early Monday morning to get all my infected wisdom teeth out!! I had NO swelling and WAS PAIN FREE instantly!! I was back to work the day after my surgery! After all the horror stories people had about their experience with getting their wisdom teetg removed,they were very surprised how well I bounced back, thanks to a great Dr!! He did an amazing job and I'll always refer people to him!! His staff was also SUPER HELPFUL and SUPER FRIENDLY!!! Thank u Dr!!! You're greatly appreciated!!!!
