Dr. Steven B Kraus, MD

Dr. Kraus has been my PCP for over a decade. Due to changes in my employer's insurance carrier I had to leave his practice for a while. After changing to an employer whose insurance included Urban Family practice, I immediately returned to Dr. Kraus for my primary care. He takes time to answer questions no matter how trivial. He and I share a droll sense of humor which makes visits for exams and procedures more than tolerable. Dr. Kraus was recommended to me by a coworker. I have recommended him to family and coworkers as well.

My son came back from a trip with pain in his esophogus. Because Dr. Kraus was highly recommended by a friend, we called to see if he could see my son that day. He extended his office hours in order to see my son. With his easy manner, Dr. Kraus correctly diagnosed my son's condition. We are so grateful to Dr. Kraus, and my son will continue to use him as his permanent doctor.

I looooove, love, love Dr. Kraus. He has treated me since I was 12 and now I'm 40....He is kind, smart, explains whats going on with your body, has a great sense of humor and in general, a great guy. Now, my whole family goes to see him and we all talk about how caring, patient and kind he is. YEA FOR DR. KRAUS

I MUST SAY AFTER MANY YEARS OF THIS DR KRAUS AND HIS STAFF IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST DO NOT USE HIS SERVICE. RUDE AND HAS THE ATTITUDE OF THE BEAST. HE IS A MONEY MONGER AND WILL LOOK TO DRAIN YOU AND YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY. MANY TIMES PRESCRIPTIONS ARE WRONG AND HE ALWAYS TRIES TO PRESCIBE THE MOST EXPENSIVE MEDICINE ON THE MARKET WITH NO CARE AS TO YOUR COST SUCH AS YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY WILL NOT COVER THE COST. ALSO EVEN IF YOU HAVE BEEN ON A PRESCRIPTION FOR TWENTY YEARS IF YOUR OVER 6 MONTHS THEIR ARE NO REFILLS ALLOWED YOU JUST AS WELL BE READY FOR SICKNESS TO COME ON BECAUSE THE BEAST ONLY CAN SEE DOLLAR SIGNS. HIS OFFICE STAFF WILL TREAT YOU WITH NO RESPECT AND JUST TRY THEM REMEMBER THEY HAVE THE POWER OF YOU NEED THEM THESE PEOPLE ARE THE DEFINITION OF WHO TOOK THE CUSTOMER SERVICE OUT OF PATIENT CARE I PROMISE YOU GRAB YOUR BIBLE AND PHONE BOOK AND INSURANCE BOOK AND GO ELSE WHERE OR YOU WILL BE BEAT BY THE DEVILS ADVOCATE, URBAN FAMILY CLINIC Mr. STEVEN KRAUS… AND ASSOCIATES.

DR. Kraus listened very attentively to my complaint and asked other pertinent questions to diagnose something that I never saw as related. He is calm, caring, sensitive and very good at explaining things I can do to take care of myself and prevent further disease in my body. He respected that as the patient, I have the responsibility to care for myself and taught me how to do that. I love that in a doctor! I have referred my family and coworkers to him and they all love him! His humor is awesome too! I will never move from atlanta cause of him!!

I've been seeing Dr. Kraus for a couple of years. He has a dry sense of humor & is definitely not an extrovert. But I like him overall. He does listen even when you think sometimes he's not. Could be a bit more personable & friendly but we can't expect people to be exactly what we want. I do recommend him & will keep seeing him as my physician.
