Dr. Steven Jerome Kronowitz, MD

It's been 2 years since Dr. Kronowitz performed my tummy tuck and thigh lift. My scars are horrible. I've had to go to other professionals who commented that the thigh lift was poorly done as you can see the scars way past the crease of my groin/pelvis and thighs. It looks like a thigh lift was not done at all. I believe I looked better prior to the expensive surgery. I had two scars from previous surgeries on my abdomen (appendix and C section). Those scars could not be seen if wearing a swimsuit. The scars Dr. K left me with are completely visible with a swimsuit. He did not care. During post-op visits he was dismissive and un-empathetic. He injected agents into my scars that caused them to make big indentations that can be seen through underwear and fitted clothing. I trusted the exaggerated reviews and made a poor choice. I regret it. :-( I genuinely hope this review helps others think twice.

Worse so called surgeon to go to, need to be investigated and drug tested. Mar 14, 2022, I received a so called thigh lift and buttock lift. He charged 22k to botch me up. I went in looking better than I came out of surgery. He altered my pubic area, bunched up all my excess skin and sowed it together not removing it and cut me up on my hip and buttock area only to make it seem as if he gave me surgery when I will have forever scars. His stitching is not clean, it is the worse that I have ever seen. Kronowitz is dismissive nonchalant and rude. Please go to someone else to get major surgery he is overpriced and he is a complete liar and do horrible work.

This doctor ruined my face. I have had 4 surgeries so far to correct what he did to me and am looking at a fifth. I have nerve damage to my face and cannot move my right eyebrow up and down now. I would not recommend him to anyone looking for a plastic surgeon. In my opinion he is a bad doctor and a bad person.

As a native New Yorker who has been treated by two previous Plastic Surgeons I was compelled to share my amazing experience with Dr. Kronowitz and his staff. I diligently read through his many accolades, and then immediately struck by his warm and friendly bedside manner as well. Dr. Kronowitz took a great deal of time to thoroughly explain each procedure I was considering at my consultation. He was honest and proved to be very knowledgeable regarding the latest and most current methods which could be used to achieve my goals. I was extremely impressed with his morality as he fairly recommending not to touch areas of my body that I was considering fixing; he is definitely keeping the patients’ best interest over a financial gain. His priority is obviously to ensure that patients leaves the consultation with no unanswered questions and feels that the recommendations were personally and individually created. I selected to have a thigh and buttock lift, with a tummy tuck and vaser… lipo in my arms and full back. I was very anxious and nervous but Dr. Kronowitz and his staff went into great detail about what patients can expect after surgery, including post operative recovery. The best part is that all of these gracious manners did not end in the operating room. Dr. Kronowitz personally visited with me in my room and thoroughly went over all of my post-op instructions and medications. He asked me several times if I had any further questions and reminded me to feel free to contact him if any questions and/or concerns did arise. All post op visits in his office remained personable and thorough; Dr. Kronowitz makes you know that each patient truly matters to him. I would recommend his expertise and skilled work to anyone considering plastic surgery.

Extremely Happy... I am so thrilled I chose Dr. Kronowitz to perform my tummy tuck. I researched all of the plastic surgeons in Houston and decided to have Dr. Kronowitz perform my surgery. My tummy is now so flat with muscle definition. He even performed liposuction, which many local plastic surgeons were not offering along with the tummy tuck. I have bought new dresses and my husband is so excited with my new figure. Do yourself a favor and have Dr. Kronowitz perform your tummy tuck. Although, I had a tummy tuck with liposuction, I have heard he does an amazing job with faces and breasts as well. I am already saving for my face lift for a few years from now.

Choosing a cosmetic surgeon is a difficult choice. When I decided to have cosmetic surgery on my face, it became very important to me that I do my due diligence and research the top cosmetic doctors in Houston. Facial surgery, if done poorly, is not a secret, everyone can immediately see the bad work. I did not want to make an investment in a mediocre surgeon. After extensive research, I chose Dr. Kronowitz, not only for his board certifications, but also the extensive recognition he has received worldwide for his techniques and accomplishments. Dr. Kronowitz is an artist and I immediately felt comfortable with his plan for making me look “refreshed” without looking phony. Dr. Kronowitz stated, he was not the cheapest surgeon out there, but a vested surgeon who treated his patients individually and not as one of the masses. And that is what I wanted! To feel like I was a person and not a number. His entire office and hospital staff made me feel comfortable. It was the best experience I… have had with a cosmetic surgeon, and realistically, his fee was reasonable for the work that he did. I never once questioned his approach and had confidence and faith in his vision and honestly. It has only been two weeks since my surgery and I am so excited to see my final results, I can hardly wait. Without question or reservations, I would highly recommend Dr. Kronowtiz to my family and friends, and will never have to research another cosmetic surgeon for any and all, “refreshments”, I may need in the future.

I have been coming to see Dr. Kronowitz for Botox and fillers for over a year now. Love his techniques and always have great results!

Love Dr Kronowitz and his staff! You would expect a doctor with his superstar credentials to have a big ego and be all about himself. But this guy is warm, caring and just a great person. My husband and I are so grateful to have him as my reconstructive surgeon after my mastectomies! It just can't get any better!

He is a very good surgeon, a bit blunt at times, but that doesn't bother me.
