LONG BUT A MUST READ!!!! I wish I can give this man a minus 5. I am 49yrs old, when I was 20 I went to him for what was a “cosmetic” issue. He sent me to a “friend” for a second opinion which never happened, when I went to other doctor all that was waiting for me was a letter stating that he agreed I “needed” surgery. Day of surgery (which occurred less than a week after I saw him for consult), he was annoyed I had eaten that day (I wasn’t told not to). During surgery I was half awake and was “talking too much, he asked anesthesiologist to “give me more”. I never signed any papers “before” surgery, nor did I have x-rays. Only after surgery did he have me sign “papers”. During procedure he asked me if I wanted a “boob” job, that my insurance would pay for it. (While cupping my breast) After, he had me sign papers, He put me in a taxi and I passed out in taxi. This is before cell phones, driver looked thru my bag, found a telephone number and contacted a friend who contacted my… boyfriend and he was able to get me home. Driver actually helped my boyfriend get me to apt. Thank God he wasn’t a rapist. When I woke I found BOTH my feed bandaged. I went to him for a simple “cosmetic” procedure and he ended up doing TWO bunionectomes that I did NOT need and every toe except for pinkies had stitches on them! ***even if I needed bunionectomes, both should never be done at same time! Since then, 29 years, I have lived with pain every single day. It has affected my quality of life every day. I tried contacting several lawyers a year or so after surgery for malpractice. Other doctors I went to after regarding pain and disfigurement of my feet stated it was a botched job. When he got word I contacted lawyers he began harassing me at work, calling relentlessly stating “I thought we were friends, how could you do this”, my boss had to speak to him on my behalf. My surgery cost $17,000+! He charged insurance for things he didn’t do (I.e. x-rays) ...Well I didn’t go thru with lawsuit because of a job I was applying to which you could not have any open cases, lawsuits etc. while application process (law enforcement). About 3 years or so after my surgery, I was watching the news on TV and see his office on it...apparently the anesthesiologist he used had molested a patient there! I hope and pray that “Karma” is for real. PLEASE, PLEASE, if you’re reading reviews cause you’re thinking of going to him don’t!!! It has taken me a long time to do this. Sorry I didn’t do this sooner....just checking things off my “bucket list”.
