I love the practice of orthodontics. Whether our patients are children or adults, I enjoy getting to know them and helping them achieve a great smile. Each day provides new and interesting challenges that I look forward to solving. Since no two patients are alike, no two orthodontic challenges are alike, and that’s what makes it fun!
Education and Experience
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Wayne State University and received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School. I practiced dentistry for two years in the United States Air Force. After serving my country, I continued on to the University of Michigan where I received my Master of Science degree in Orthodontics.
I also enjoy teaching, and early in my career I organized one of the first dedicated orthognathic surgery clinics in the country at the University of Detroit …Mercy Dental School. I also taught orthognathic surgery at the University of Michigan’s School of Dentistry and have given numerous lectures to my colleagues in this area of orthodontics. Today, I am a consulting orthodontist for the Craniofacial and Cleft Palate Diagnostic Clinic at Saint John’s Providence Hospital in Novi, MI.
