Steven A. Lee-Kong, M.D., is a fellowship-trained, board certified colorectal surgeon who is part of Hackensack Meridian Medical Group as the Division Chief of Colorectal Surgery at Hackensack University Medical Cente, rpart of Hackensack Meridian Health. Before joining Hackensack Meridian Health, Dr. Lee-Kong served as Associate Professor of Surgery and Program Director for the General Surgery Residency at Columbia, where he mentored the next generation of surgeons. He is a prolific researcher with more than 40 peer-reviewed publications and has co-authored national clinical guidelines for the treatment of hemorrhoids and other colorectal conditions.
