Dr. Steven Hoon Lee

Dr. Lee is (or let me now say, was) the doctor helping my daughter with her fertility issues. He is very rigid and will not deviate from (I guess) his norm, although her situation is not normal. I feel she wasted valuable time with him and if her condition is what I am almost certain it is, he could have delayed her with such a non-necessary requirement of his, that it may be too late for her to conceive. The damage may be such that all hope is gone. Thanks for taking a patient's input into consideration, Dr. Lee! She will be getting her records and finding a doctor that will actually help her and hopefully in time.

My experience: 1. 9pm After my delivery I kept bleeding because of a tear; the nurse would not call Dr. Lee because she said he did not like to be called after 9pm. I bled out until 2am. 2. 2am Dr. Lee was finally called and he came back to the hospital said he sewed me up and performed a D&C. 3. I returned to the hospital after 2 weeks at home with my baby. My new doctor said I had retained placenta. He then performed the actual D&C because of the terrible infection I had developed and also to remove the retained placenta.

I saw Dr. Lee as my very first OB/GYN at age 16 on my mother's insistence. In addition to getting me through my first pelvic exam, he also recognized on a subsequent visit that I was flirting with an eating disorder. He called me on it, and advised me strongly that I needed enough calories to remain healthy. Whatever he said worked. When I ate meals away at college thereafter, I had his voice in my head as I chose the things that looked good and healthy to me instead of trying to get by on as little food as possible. I am now a healthy, strong mother of daughters. I am very grateful to have been under Dr. Lee's care. He helped me through some of the hardest times and touchiest issues in an adolescent girl's life with kindness, understanding, and insightful authority.
