Went in for a dialysis fistula, was woken and told something went wrong. Put down again and a second attempt was made, it lasted about two weeks then collapsed. As time went by the arm grew painful, then the hand and fingers swelled. Eventually arm became useless. Went back to Dr. Leers, he said he could do nothing. I have since been put on opioids and nerve blockers. With exercise and drugs I am able to use my hand again. However, strength is greatly reduced.

He was caring and thoughtful and explained everything to you. The staff underneath him were well informed and cared about the patient. I would recommend Dr. Leers to anyone needing vascular surgery.

i had a huge blood clot in my neck artery that could have cost me my life or my left arm.dr leers operated on me immediately and did a wonderful job.i had a cat scan done sometime later and the dr said you couldnt even tell that the artery in my neck was ever worked on. dr leers is very good at what he does and he has alot of compassion for his patients.ive had 8 different surgeons operate on me in my lifetime and dr leers is by far the best i have ever seen.wish there where more surgeons like him.thankyou again dr leers
