Dr. Steven Daniel Lenhard

I went to see dr. Lenhard at his new location. As always it was a thought exam. I never felt rushed and he answered all my concerns. Dr. Lenhard is his patients best advocate.

misdiagnosed ovarian cyst, or just wanted to juice my insurance caused unnecessary surgery and prolonged pain

I have been going to Dr. Lenhard for about nine years. I find him thorough, concerned about my health and well-being, and caring. He has, more than a few times, personally called me at night to find out how me or my wife are doing after a particular issue arose in his office. As you know, most practices have nurses or admins call (though this practice does that as well). As for other reviews saying he rushes, he - in fact - does the opposite. He spends a great deal of time explaining things, inquiring about others, and being thorough. He does tend to prescribe medication easily, however, he will always discuss healthy alternatives to avoiding medication - such as diet modification, etc. The practice has the usual annoying voice mail system when making appointments, but once you get to the office, the staff is friendly and helpful. Particularly Dr. Lenhard's assigned nurses & admin. They are all great ! I recommend him highly.

I think this doctor is the worst I have ever seen. I would not take my dog to him.

I saw this doctor for several years. I saw him for the usual things such as flu, colds etc. However I began having panic attacks...so after several visits I finally caved to his suggestion that I go on an SSRI medication as he INSISTED that I was depressed (which I was not) A horrible 4 years later after gaining 80 lbs, becoming diabetic and NO help with panic....I went off the meds against his advice. I quickly lost the weight - but know I will never be the same as before. He also told me at a visit...and I QUOTE him "I think the government should put statin medication in our water supply." That was my last visit. I now see another doctor who correctly diagnosed my panic and cholesterol problem as a thyroid issue. Although it is not completely resolved...it is GREATLY better.

Been his patient for about a year and a half. He is thorough enough to have identified melanoma on my back and make the proper referrals for other matters. Caring enough to stop and talk. Staff is likewise.

Dr. Lenhard is always patient and takes the time to listen any problems I may have. His staff is wonderful and always prompt about returning calls. I have never had wait a long time in the waiting room. Dr. Lenhard is an excellent doctor.

He orders un-needed labs bacause the lab is part of his office and then he would prefer to write a script for whatever sales rep is paying for his family vacation that year. Take my advice, find another doctor.
