Dr. Steven Alan Levine, MD

I went to see Dr. Le Vine about a wart I had on the bottom of my foot that was causing me extreme pain when I walked. There was nothing visible on the bottom of my foot, just a sharp pain when I put pressure on it. The pain rapidly got worse and I had to return to my college soon, so I made an appointment on the Northshoreconnect app with Dr. Le Vine. There were no appointments available with my normal doctors, so I went to see him. He and the receptionist were both much more concerned with the fact that I was not seeing my primary care doctor than they were with the fact that I was in a lot of pain. They were extremely rude to me throughout the appointment (at first they told me I couldn't even see the doctor, despite him being in my network and accessable through the app). He ended up diagnosing my wart but wouldn't do anything to treat it and told me to see my primary doctor for further help. I ended up cutting the wart off myself. Don't see this guy if you expect care, compassion,… or basic respect in a doctor.

i went in for my first new patient visit as my internist of 20 plus years is retiring. Dr. Steven LeVine was kind and made me feel like my great health care would continue without missing a beat. He took his time reviewing my past history and health issues and examined me and assured me he could continue to treat me and we made a plan for a follow up visit which made sense to me. I feel like i made a great choice in entrusting this kind smart doctor to help me age HEALTHFULLY. My mother in law would say to me you are only as good as your doctor...i think Dr. LeVine will take good care of me.

Very inconsiderate of my reason for visit. Required me to return several times for lab work instead of completing all at once. Dismissed my concerns. Unorganized with reviewing test results. Totally missed my diagnosis. Needed to find a new doctor.

finished now even with OT therapy just 4 weeks after Dr. Steve did my second knee in 6 month ! anxious to get back to classes at Y especially water aerobics highly recommended by Dr. Levin --glad I have no more knees to work on --but would have him again if I did !!!

Dr. Levine is the most caring and compassionate doctors I have ever had. His staff is equally as compassionate and nice.
