Great doctor. Solve my problem. Nice and friendly. Will recommend to everyone.

This doctor doesn't listen and when you do get through he argues....if you want to be involved in your health care do not see this guy.

I have been going to see Dr. Lu for almost 10 years. He is always very caring & shows sincere empathy for my aging osteoarthritis condition. I have 3 bad disc in my neck, several in my back, bad hips, bad knees, ankles, etc. Dr. Lu stays on top of all the test I need to have done. I am 65 yrs. old and I have come to a time in my life when I do not always understand, but I trust Dr. Lu with my life and I know he always has my best interest foremost upfront. I hate it when I disappoint him and I feel like I do sometimes the older I am getting, but he never mistreats me, nor is he rude. Back to the smartest Dr. I have ever known. This is very true. No matter what problem one of our family members has come up with over the years, he always knows more about it than the specialists! Not kidding. I have often accused him of staying awake studying all night. Some of the reviews on here are plain rude and I think untrue. I have never seen his office dirty, nor has his staff been anything but… nice, and Dr. Lu has always taken time to listen to me even if I just need to talk about my problems. I see Dr. Lu for all of my needs. He takes care of my complete physical exams & stays in touch with my heart Dr. when needed. A person cannot ask for more than this from their Doctor in my opinion. Dr. Lu is very much a professional, and a very intelligent Doctor. I also love it that his wife has her Chiropractic office right there in his building. She has helped me so much! I guess that is another review all in itself though.

A very good doctor highly recommend!

First, the good.... He LISTENS! oh my gosh, a doctor who looks at you like a person, not a dollar sign, wait time is acceptable, nurses are sweet, all in all....not horrible. The bad.... I think there may be a bit of a language barrier? Also, kind of forgetful and overly defensive when brought up. Office needs a good cleaning, maybe some paint and flowers or something? All in all, Dr.Lu actually seems to care and doesn't spend the whole two min with him standing by the door ready for the next dollar to walk in, which sadly, is rare! I'm picky, but he's as good doc:)

Dr. Steven Lu has been taking care of my husband for over four years now. My husband has a spine injury, liver disease, and other problems that combined, were very serious health issues. He was in pain constantly. Dr. Lu addressed all the health issues and my husband is doing great now. Dr. Lu has changed our lives. Thank you, Dr. Lu.

Will never go back.. The office is dirty and staff is rude!!! he comes in for 5 mins wants to give me a RX and have me back in 2 weeks.... Stay away!!

I have had Dr. Stephen Lu for over three years now. I was referred to him by another Doctor who thought that Dr. Lu would take my difficult case. His staff is great! Very friendly. They have never made me feel like I was a patient, more like family. Very easy to make appointments and I have never have had any insurance problems. Dr. Lu is very knowledeable in all areas of medicine. He would have to be to be taking care of this old guy. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

I can't put into this small of space how great Dr. Steven T. Lu,M.D.,Phd. is. The bottom line is that he saved my life;not just medically, but mentally.If it wasn't for Doctor Lu running all the test he did to rule out what other doctors said I had, I would not be typing this comment out today. Dr. Lu is the most caring, due dilegent doctor I have ever met. He saved my life in more ways then one. He didn't care about the money issues at all. I was very sick, hurt, out of work, and he still took my case.Never once, did his billing office hassel me. As I read the comment/pro/con, "no care but insurance claim," I can only say "You don't know the Doctor Steven Lu that Vancouver Washington knows." I was refered to Dr. Stephen Lu to be my primary care doctor by another Doctor. He advised me that Doctor Steven Lu is "A Doctor's Doctor."I didn't think he would take my case because I had such poor Insurance through my employer. I was very sick, and hurt, with a spinal injury.He took my case… regardless of any concerns regarding these things. Besides saving my life and refering me to some of the best specialist I've ever met, He kept me going mentally so I wouldn't give up.Ane there were times I truely wanted to just give up because of the pain, chemo treatments, etc.etc. He made me fight back and we are winning!!! The patients my wife and I speak to in his waiting room all have simular stories. They love Dr. Lu because he "truely cares." We are not just a file number or insurance claim.We ar "His Patients" I thank God for Dr. Stephen Lu as does my wife and family every night in prayer.
