Went to er for covid. Diagnosed with covid pneumonia. I was super sick and deteoriating. When I asked what the plan since I was now dx with pna and literally said to me "nothing." He called it viral and said Your body has to fight this which it had not done in weeks. Sent me home with a tessalon pearl drop. I was admitted to another hospital within 48 hours of oxygen in the 70s and 80s. This dr is not fit. He doesn't care.

Dr. Maher assisted my mother in the ER. She was very anxious and was in a lot of pain. He kept everyone calm and informed throughout our ER visit. He was very knowledgeable, and we were blessed to have him as our doctor.

Dr. Maher was compassionate and took excellent care of my father while he was in the emergency room.

I was seen by this doctor in the emergency room in Az for chest pain, and painful swallowing. After a series of exam he believed I had cancer. I don't see how he missed my rash. I was discharged and adviced me to see a pylmonary doctor. I did some research on my own and basically diagnosed myself wirh the help of a friend. When I met with my pulmonary doctor he agreed with me that i did not have cancer but instead Valley Fever which is common gere in Az. I toughed it out without being treated for this because Dr Maher misdiagnosed me.

I am a diabetic who was suffering from an ear infection. I had been seen by an urgent care dr, and a dr at a different hospital emergency room - none of what they prescribed to me helped, my conditioned worsened with each passing day. I finally went to the Mayo ER and saw Dr. Maher. He was pleasant, extremely thorough, gave me IV antibiotics, ear wicks (which none of the other doctors mentioned), and about 5 hours after leaving his care I FINALLY started feeling relief and SO much improvement. About 18 hours later and I'm feeling 95% better. I am incredibly thankful for this doctor.
